Through lyrics that said ‘sorry if i’m gonna leave you…’ the 24-year old musician proclaimed a decision to move on and put his past behind. “I treat this song as a moving-on anthem. Through ‘Not Anymore’ I would not go back to my rebellious past and waste my time. So, not anymore for the bullshit,” said the singer. Transforming his life’s journey into music and lyrics, Dendi perceives music as his walking diary. Of course, his latest effort “Not Anymore” is also one of them.
Through straightforward lyrics and catchy melodies, the ‘Berganti’ singer combines the elements of Britpop and psychedelic on this song. The listeners are taken to witness a new chapter in the artist’s love life and how he parted away with his past self and love. Dendi confessed that his toxic relationship has become an inspiration behind his somber lyrics. The musician also treats his works as a walking diary that reflects various phases of his life. To make this release more special, he plans to embark on a 5-city tour in Central Java with rising star Gangga starting from May 17th, 2022 to Semarang, Yogyakarta, Solo, Boyolali, and Salatiga.
Besides the aforementioned venture, he also plans to do a radio tour as well as an unplugged session with YKWKND to promote this song.
